Global Village
Global Village is an event that gives our local community a chance to immerse into different cultures. You have to prepare some regional dishes, put on your traditional costumes, sing national songs, teach people some words in your native language and become the genuine ambassadors of your cultures! You are obliged to prepare some national dances, songs, clothes, food, beverages, the flag, some basic information about your religion/origin/traditions etc. for this event!
PrepCo and CloseCo
PrepCo and CloseCo are two conferences you will take part in. During PrepCo you will be provided with all the information concerning your stay at Poland, how to get by with your work at schools etc. You will also have chance to mingle with others EPs and members of our Local Committee. Since it’s the beginning of your adventure we would like you to reflect on your volunteer activity and how to use your time in Poland properly.
Participation in this event is obligatory so we highly recommend you to come to Poland even a day earlier. CloseCo takes place during the last weekend of your stay and is an event during which you will have a chance to share your experience with others participants of the projects, evaluate what you’ve learnt and whether you’ve reached your set personal goals of a project.
EP Lead
EP Lead is both a name of the process you’ be going through and of an event we going to organise for you in the middle of the project. Participation is obligatory as the aim of these workshops is the evaluation of your ongoing progress in the project. We will help you to reach your goals and improve your performance at schools. Remember – sharing is caring! There will be space for exchanging your views with others as well.
